Established in May 2015, Wine Down has been a cherished destination in downtown Brevard, North Carolina, for nearly a decade. This cozy, European-style wine bar offers an extensive selection of over 50 wines by the glass, complemented by craft beers, charcuterie, paninis, and specialty bites, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Located at 28 E Main Street, Wine Down provides an inviting ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to sip, savor, and socialize. Live music performances further enhance the relaxed and intimate atmosphere guests have come to love.

In late 2023, Gary Glancy, a passionate wine and craft beer enthusiast, became the owner of Wine Down, continuing its tradition as a welcoming gathering place for the Brevard community and expanding the bar’s craft beer offerings.

As of January 28, Wine Down on Main enters a new chapter under the ownership of Beth and Fred Schenberg. With a shared love of quality wine, hospitality, and deep roots in Brevard, Beth and Fred are committed to continuing the Wine Down tradition while preserving the relaxed, friendly atmosphere that has made it a local favorite. The existing staff remains in place, and guests can expect the same great wine, craft beer, food, live music, and community-focused experience.
